Sir Taleen

Taleen grew up in the small village of Dalos in the land of Aleros. There he was raised by his parents Valora and Elim. Valora, a strong psionic, trained Taleen to follow in the ways of good and truth as her mother trained her. Psionic ability was inherited by Taleen but unknown to him until his 18th birthday when it became fully active. His first experience occoured during an argument with a close friend when he shattered an ale mug without touching it. His father, a powerful mage and warrior, trained his son in the arts of swordsmanship and honor. He tought Taleen the code of the knight and how good shall overcome all that stands in it's way.

Not soon after Taleen learned of his true strengths a dark cloud encumpused the land of Aleros and placed it into darkness for the next 10 years. Low and behold, a holy war was upon them. Many villages fought the self richous king of Aleros, many to only face his knights that struck them down in cold blood. Durring the final years of the holy war, Taleen's father came in contact with the builders and masons within the castle walls and convinced them to join their cause. Slowly over the years a tunnel was quietly and secretly constructed from the interior of the castle walls to the exterior of a hillside. Then, when the time was right and the resistance was large enough, they attacked! The forces of darkness tried to defend themselves but death was inevatable. The resistance struck, and struck hard, to the heart of the castle. One by one the knights were taken out of battle and the resistance advanced. Taleen's parents led the final assult against the Keep and it was to be their final assult.

Durring the attack on the keep Taleen's father was slain by an archer atop the Keep's main wall. Valora, senceing her husband in trouble, turned to help when she was struck across the back with a knights blade that ended her life. The two parents of Taleen lay atop eachother in a puddle of blood when he was to find them. His screem of terror was said to be heard throughout the land of Aleros. With his blood lust now pushed beyond the limits of a meer mortal he grabed his blade and fought valliantly through the halls of the Keep until finally he reached the main chaimbers of the King and Queen. With blood not of his own covering his armor and blade, he struck down the king with a single blow to the neck. His close friend Yan took out the queen with a similar blow and thus ended the holy war that cost many, includeing Taleen, everything.....

Being the only remaining member of his family, Taleen was left to lead the house of Imados. A stong house with a strong history of patroits and heros. None of them rich, and none of them royalty, but all of them important to history.

Taleen, having no ties to leave behind, left Aleros to fight beside those that are on a quest for something more than themselves. He has sworn to fight evil wherever it hides and to follow the code of the Knight to the last letter.
