Nanaki

RedXIII used to be just another of his race, but he was left to die after falling ill as a young cub… That was when Kagato found him and restored his life. He had seen the potential in Nanaki (RedXIII’s true name) and decided that he would be much more use as a “student”. RedXIII was loyal to his master, the one who had brought him back from death, and performed all the duties given, including the slaughter of those who stood against Kagato… and it was during one of these “clean-ups” that he found someone…

The individual he found showed RedXIII what he was doing… killing his own kind as well as others… he showed him that killing was not the way to enlightenment, to inner peace… RedXIII still followed his orders from Kagato and killed this individual, but not before he had placed the seeds of doubt into his mind.

When he returned to Kagato’s vessel, he started searching… looking for the history of how many had fallen before Kagato… It was during this research that he found out the true extent of Kagato’s destruction. He had been responsible for the destruction of over eight million worlds (total destruction of the planets in question), the annihilation of innumerable races, and the ending of two dimensions, with all the inherent Universes and Worlds within them. It was after finding this out that RedXIII changed…

He vowed never to fight again and fled from Kagato’s vessel. He placed blocks on his offensive powers and started learning how to use his abilities at soul-magic and inorganic-transformation to the help of others… although his only way of healing others was to exchange the damage with himself. Kagato designed his healing magics as such to prevent the development of a conscience within RedXIII.

Kagato followed after his lost student, trying to re-capture him and re-bind him to his will, but had been unsuccessful, since he excelled at the destruction of those he disliked, but not at capturing…

RedXIII has now helped someone too far though… He has taken the darkness from a woman called Arcadia, and this has freed the blocks he originally placed… allowing him to kill again, to use his magic’s for death and not life…

That phase in RedXIII's life has now passed though, and he is now almost back to his old, caring self and using his true name of Nanaki. He is also in love with SheWolf, and will soon be married to her.
